My design process
I believe the best way to arrive at design solutions is by 'abstracting' -- taking a broader systems approach by taking a step back and evaluating the situation holistically.
Through my understanding of design thinking and the tools and processes employed in designing a superior product, I set out with this simple exercise to map out my framework of approaching a design problem and how I arrive at the many possible solutions.
My design model stems from other design models that I have studied and worked with- Stanford D School, Richard Branham's model, IDEO, Lawson, Joanne Mendel and Jan Yeager, Integrative thinking by Roger Martin, Analysis-Synthesis Bridge Model by Hugh Dubberly, Shelley Evenson and Rick Robinson and many more.
All the projects I have worked on are approached in this systematic manner.
